Quality assurance – anodizing
At Aluano, we never compromise on quality – especially when it comes to anodizing. Our quality
assurance system is built around strict routines, thorough documentation, and continuous monitoring,
allowing us to deliver consistent and reliable results – every time.
Our quality routines include:
- Daily measurements of the tub’s values, such as pH and ppm.
- Weekly in-house laboratory analyses to ensure process stability
- Regular replacement of rinse baths to maintain high cleanliness
- Use of specialized nozzles for recirculation, ensuring fluid coverage throughout the component’s geometry
– including cavities and hard-to-reach areas - Proper rinsing processesto ensure holes and threads are free from acid and chemical residues
- Coating thickness measurements are documented and traceable via measurement reports
- Measurement reports can be included upon request – as documentation of completed measurements and quality control
Chromating with Surtec650
At Aluano, we set high standards for the quality of our chromating processes. We use Surtec 650 – a modern and environmentally friendly chromating solution – and ensure that all processes are closely monitored and thoroughly documented. Our analyses are carried out in our in-house laboratory according to the supplier’s specifications, ensuring high process stability and consistent quality.
Our quality routines include:
- Quality Assurance, through in-house laboratory analysis
- Daily measurements of treatment quality
- Weekly in-house laboratory analyses according to Surtec’s specifications
- Regular replacement of rinse baths to ensure high cleanliness
- Pre- and post-treatment baths precisely adjusted for Surtec 650 processing
- Use of specialized nozzles for recirculation, ensuring fluid coverage throughout the entire geometry of the component – including cavities and hard-to-reach areas
- Proper rinsing processesto ensure holes and threads are free from acid and chemical residues
- Accurate temperature control
- Scheduled changes of the Surtec 650 solution according to a structured plan
- Salt spray testing can be carried out upon request
Documentation and certificates
Certificates, salt spray test reports from the Danish Technological Institute, as well as declarations of conformity for anodized products intended for food contact, can be provided upon request. Please contact us for further information.
